So the peeps over at Flavorwire were inspired by the New York Public Library’s discovery of masses of Mary Shelleys hair, and created this awesome slideshow of other literary master’s hair too:

Apparently it was commonplace to give locks of your hair to friends and family, hence the reason they found tons of it. I was very much enjoying the slideshow until I came to slide 10. That whole slide and accompanying text is all kinds of wrong.
